Job Hunt

On Monday I borrowed my mother-in-laws car and ran around. First I made my way down to Queen Creek to find the ALA (American Leadership Academy) office so that I could turn in my resume and application as a teachers assistant. Well since I didn't print out the map and didn't have a GPS of course I got lost. So I turned into a Walgreens to ask for directions and after over an hour of trying to find this office I finally found it!! Then I turned it in and then left.

Then on the way to continue dropping off my resume my mom-in-law called me to tell me about all the schools that were hiring. So I went and dropped off my resumes at Hale Elementary, Field Elementary, Franklin West, Stapley Jr High and a few other that I can't remember their name hahaha. Then I went and dropped off applications for Pete's Fish and Chips, Seagull Books and two different Denny's.

I emailed multiple relaters to see if they needed a photographer for their properties and I have only received a few emails in response. Which is exciting and I hope that it all works out for me.

I am looking for a job if you couldn't tell :) and I am hoping that it will all work out for me.

Wish me luck :)

Enjoy the Trip

I didn't get around to writing much this week. But Thursday I went to a sealing in the Mesa Temple for one of my friends. She was beautiful. My husband, unfortunately, was working so couldn't attend the session with me. But as we were outside waiting for the bride and groom to come out the brides mother came out and told us that she wanted all the brides friends and family on the south side of the steps and the grooms friends and family on the north side of the steps all leaning into the middle, over the railings to give high fives as they came out the temple and walked down the steps. So we did.... cuz that's what they wanted. So when the bride and groom came out instead of giving a kiss to each other, they began running down the steps.... well the brides dress wasn't short.... and she didn't hold it up. So she fell!! LUCKILY her dress was poofy and she didn't get hurt. She stood up, kissed her groom and went on with the photos. Don't worry.... we got it on tape, the best part is that we got it from the side AND the front. Anyways, we went to the reception and it was very cute, great food and wonderful music. His band was there and they played for us.... and for her, he sang to her a couple of the songs that he wrote for her. It was rather cute!!

Monday

This past Monday we removed our popcorn ceiling. I was watching a movie when my parents came over and decided to help us. It sounded really hard but turned out being extremely easy. We covered all the furniture in the room, sprayed the ceiling with water to get it wet enough to scrape off. Then we scraped it off. It was so easy. We got all the rooms done except for the kitchen. Which we don't have to get done for a while... which is good. We will be getting the ceiling textured from my brother in law Nathan. Then we will paint and have the carpet replaced!! Maybe my house wont seem so bachelorish any more. I really need to get some pictures up too. But that will be after I paint.... which will hopefully be before the carpets come in. I am so excited for the carpets to come in. New carpet is my favorite thing.
